Last weeks/days...

Biscuit went back to the vet, confirmed cancer though we knew that, we have started her on prednisone to help make the last week or so pleasant. The cancer she has is a non-pain cancer and the vet was happy for her to come home. She seems content right now, is slow but does not seem to be in any pain and still shows a little sign of life every now and then. She is still eating, though a lot smaller meals now and is still drinking water and still going outside to enjoy the sun and do her business out there :) - here she is enjoying a nice sleep on the couch, as I write this she is laying outside in the sun.

So now we just enjoy her for as long as we can, the moment things take a turn for the worse, we will have her back down at the vets.

David and I have put our differences aside for now, and focusing our energy on Biscuit and supporting each other. Chico will also be a wreck for a while after Biscuit goes.

So unless things take a turn for the worse we go back to the vets in 2 weeks. Chris has gone to his girlfriends for a week or two, as her parents are away and they are house sitting. The parents know he is there and even gave him a house key, so I am sure they will be having a ball together :). Steph and Rob are coming back here for a few days to a week, as her flatmates parents are coming to stay and are giving them some time together without flatties there.

So thats about it for us, still have 2 questions left for my assignment which is due tomorrow night, so best I finish it today :)

  1. I'm so sorry to hear about Biscuit. It certainly breaks your heart when our four-legged friends are suffering. I'm so glad this is a cancer where he won't be in pain. Good luck finishing your assignment xx
