Hi, I am a professional nail tech that lives in the beautiful country of New Zealand. I also have CRPS -- Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.
I have a love for anything Kombi and love the beach, and dream one day of owning my VW Beetle and a cottage by the sea.
The news is we are going on a trip again this year - to the Gold Coast for 2 weeks, booked the tickets tonight, and sussing out accommodation, we are not going to the place we went last time, just to expensive, but we found a few other apartments we are looking at, which are about 75% of the price of the one we stayed in last time. And the ones we are looking at have good reports from "Trip Advisor". The Trips we got from our "Airpoints", we can only use our Airpoints for our base part of the flight, but it saved us $650 using Airpoints.
So my last exam is the 16th or maybe the 17th of June (depending on when I can sit the afternoon one, as I have two in one day) and we fly out the 18th June and come back on the 2nd July. So right in the middle of the two semesters, so can have time off study to enjoy it :)
David surprised me and said we could afford it... we can get really good accommodation cheap at that time of the year so thats all good. The only thing which will cost us the most is car hire, not cheap when you add on insurance etc.... We are flying on Virgin Airline, they apparently have older planes and they also can only accommodate 2 wheelchairs on the plane, so for now my ticket is on hold till we confirm if the wheelchair can fit. But if it doesn't we may look at hiring one over there for a few days when we want to do bigger trips that involves a lot of walking. I can change flights but David is booked on the same plane so we would need to change his tickets and that I don't think would be cheap..... anyway will know more either Monday or Tuesday.
This week David has off, and we have done nothing really, were hoping to go to the markets in Tauranga tomorrow, but the weather is suppose to be rain...
